i just got a new computer and i copied ruby database from old computer.when i try to open database,it says it cant open because it is read only.how can i change it so it would open?thanks in advance.

If your database is Read-Only then there is no way the program can have write-access to it. Ruby requires write-access to the database so that it can function properly.
To resolve the problem simply set Read-Only to off by doing the following:
1. Go to the folder where you installed Ruby and select all files in that folder. 2. Right-click on any file and select "Properties" from the pop-up menu. 3. When the window appears go to the "General" tab. 4. Make sure that "Read-Only" at the bottom is unchecked. 5. If your database (the file with the RBY extension) resides somewhere else then follow the same steps for that file.
